Karnataka Bank launches nation-wide CASA campaign

'Door-to-door canvassing to be undertaken to woo customers'

Karnataka Bank, on Monday, launched a nation-wide special current account and savings bank account (CASA) campaign for a period of three-and-a-half months from November 16 to February 29.

The Bank took the move as a major customer acquisition initiative and with an intention to take banking to the doorsteps of the general public.

Under the campaign, the Bank intends to draw people to open more than five lakh current and savings accounts by undertaking door-to-door canvassing by its entire work force. The general public is requested to make use of this opportunity to open savings bank or current account with the requisite KYC documents and information.

Variety
To suit varied segments of customers, the Bank offers a host of savings accounts namely “SB General”, “Sugama” – Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account (BSBD) for the general public, “KBL-Vanitha” for women, “KBL-Kishore” for children aged between 10 and 18 years, “KBL-Tarun” for students between 18 and 25 years of age, “KBL-Salary Privilege” for salaried persons, insurance-linked SB accounts, “SB-Money Platinum”, “Ruby”, and “Sapphire” for HNIs.

The Bank also offers six types of Current Accounts namely “CA General”, “Money Pearl”, “Money Ruby”, “Money Diamond”, “Money Diamond Plus” and “Money Platinum” to suit the business needs of different segments of the market.

The customers of the Bank can transact 24X7 at their convenience using debit cards, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, mobile apps, SMS alerts, missed call banking.

These facilities are offered free of charge. The Bank, at present, has 691 branches, 1120 ATMs and 14 e-lobbies across India.
