Yadav spurs Jawahar SC to victory

Ashish Yadav claimed four wickets for 30 runs as Jawahar Sports Club (1) cruised to a comfortable 167-run victory over Friends XI Cricket Club in their under-19 KSCA Group I, Division I, II and III inter-club cricket tournament here.

Batting first, Jawahar SC rode on good knocks from Jayesh Babu (77), Tejas Gowda (57) and Rajkumar SM (44) to set up a total of 299 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.

Chasing the target, Friends XI CC were bowled out for 132 runs in 37.3 overs, with the only notable contribution coming from Vishal Dalodiya who scored 88 runs.
