CET pre-counselling guidance on May 25

‘Deccan Herald’ and ‘Prajavani’ in association with Acharya Institute of Technology will organise a CET pre-counselling and career guidance programme on May 25 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at ‘Sri Sudhindra Auditorium’ at Canara girls high school campus, Kodialbail.

Alva’s Education Trust President Dr M Mohan Alva will be the chief guest of the programme, while St Joseph’s College of Engineering Associate Professor Dr Rio DSouza, Fisheries College Dean Dr K M Shankar and Mangalore CET Chief Nodal Officer P Jagajeevandas Bhandari will be resource persons.

This guidance cum interaction programme is organised with an intention of providing information about the newly added rules and the procedure involved in CET counselling. While P J Bhandari will explain the rules involved in CET counselling and guide the medical course aspirants in choosing the college, Dr Rio DSouza will provide guidance related to technical education and enlighten the aspirants on the opportunities available in the different branches in engineering. Dr K M Shankar will talk about opportunities available other than engineering and medical courses.

Interested candidates and their parents may avail this opportunity. The registration for the programme would begin at 8.30 am on May 25. Preference will be given to those who come first. Students studying in first PU are also welcome. Contact Prakash Nayak on 0824-2213070 and 98808 42842.
