Dhanush, Adithya set up Hammonds' fine victory

 Dhanush Subramanya and Adithya slammed fine half-centuries to help Hammonds Cricket Club to post a 20-run victory over Standard Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I (Division III) league tournament here.

In a match reduced to 40 overs per side following heavy rain, Hammonds CC rode on impressive knocks from Dhanush (70 n.o.) and Adithya (81) to post a competitive 267 for seven.

In reply, Hariman Ahmed struck 92 to keep Standard in the hunt but they were eventually restricted to 247 for nine. Nagendra (3/50) and Sireesh (3/44) shared six wickets between them for the winning team.

In another match, Bangalore Sports Club beat Cavaliers CC.
