Burglars broke into a house, at Swastik apartments on Kammanahalli-Gottigere Road in Hulimavu on Monday night, and made away with valuables.
The police said that the burglars broke into the house located in the fourth floor of the apartment and fled with 140 gram of gold, one Kg of silver and Rs 40,000 cash. The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the neighbours noticed the front door broken open.
They informed the house owner Harish, a real estate developer. Harish informed the police, who visited the spot only to notice that the flat was not fitted with CCTV cameras nor a security guard was present, the police said.
