Infy Q4 net profit slides 4.7 pc to Rs 3,097 crore

Infosys on Friday missed the street estimates with net profit registering a mere 3.5 per cent growth at Rs 3,097 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) ending March 31, compared with Rs 2,992 crore in the same period last year.

Net profit registered a decline of 4.7 per cent from Rs 3,250 crore in the third quarter. For the full fiscal year 2014-15, net profit was at Rs 12,329 crore, registering an year-on-year growth of 15.8 per cent.

 It was Rs 10,648 crore in the previous fiscal. The company’s Q4 revenue was at Rs 13,411 crore compared with Rs 12,875 crore in the same period last fiscal, registering a growth of 4.2 per cent.

 Revenues for the full year 2014-15 were at Rs 53,319 crore compared with Rs 50,133 crore last year, a growth of 6.4 per cent. In dollar terms, the revenue for the full year were at $8,711 million, compared with $8,249 million last year.
