Mahindra First Choice to invest Rs 250 crore

Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), India’s leading chain of multi-brand car service workshops, plans to invest Rs 250 crore in creating basic infrastructure and expand its network across the country, a top executive said.

Talking to Deccan Herald, Mahindra First Choice Services Marketing and Franchise Business Unit Head Alok Kapoor said, “We will invest Rs 250 crore by 2018 to create basic infrastructure and expand our network across the country. In order to supply parts to workshops, the company is planning to increase its all India cluster warehouse network from the present 12 to 40.”

Alok was in city to inaugurate MFCS first franchise owned franchise operated (FOFO) workshop in Whitefield. At present, MFCS runs 59 workshops, including 29 company-owned workshops, and 12 cluster warehouses in the country.

The company also plans to make Hubballi its second hub to help strengthen its position in Karnataka.

Alok said, “At MFCS, customers can save between 10-20 per cent on car servicing costs as compared with authorised centres of several car brands.”
