Dinesh Gandhi, the BJP MP from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, has said that online business sector is becoming popular and is attracting a lot of customer attention. In order to capture this segment, the Marwaris and Rajasthanis too should come together and start online business.

Speaking at the inauguration of the three-day 11th national convention and international summit on trade, tourism and education, organised by the Akhila Bharatiya Marwari Yuva Manch - Yuva Nischay-2015 - in the City on Sunday, Gandhi said: We too will soon enter into this segment.”

The other, emerging business in Bengaluru is of garbage. There is a lot of potential here for producing electricity, bricks and manure from garbage.

“We should not miss any opportunity. In the last 15 years, Chinese products have dominated Indian market and because of this we have become retailers instead of manufacturers. With the change in government, its policies and increasing opportunities for the business community, we (Indians) are becoming manufacturers again. We (Marwaris and Rajasthanis) should make the most of this.”

In his speech, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Dinesh Gundu Rao urged Marwaris and Rajasthanis to share their business skills and expertise with other business communities.

“Some of the best people who can teach business are these two communities, but the problem with them is that they do not share their knowledge with others. They should share the business skills with those in Karnataka and across south India. This is important for Indian economy to progress.”

Malleswaram MLA C N Ashwath Narayan, national president of the Manch Lalit Gandhi, president of the Karnataka unit of the Manch, Ashok Kataria, national vice-president of south zone unit of the Manch, Ravi Singhania, general secretary of Karnataka unit Sanjay Jajodia and Director of International Commerce Private Limited Shree Kumar Lakhotiya were among those present.
