DPS East emerge champions

Riding on Aniketh’s all-round show, Delhi Public School (East) scripted a commanding 107-run victory over Army Public School (Parachute Regiment) to emerge champions of the KSCA (Div II) under-14 tournament for the BTR Shield here on Tuesday.

Batting first, DPS scored a handy 219 in 50 overs with Aniketh M (70) being their top-scorer.
Army Public School bowlers, led by Abhishek U (3/45) did well to stop DPS from registering a much bigger total.
In reply, Army Public School batsmen came a cropper and were bundled out for 112 in 34.3 overs. Aniketh did most of the damage for the winners, picking four  wickets  and giving away 12 runs .
