As many as 50 enterprising yatris from 27 states and 15 countries will take part in the 8000-km journey. Yatris will have the opportunity to visit various companies and meet business magnets such as Narayana Murthy of Infosys, Joe Madiath of Gram Vikas and Anshu Gupta of Goonj.

The Yatris who began their journey from Mumbai have already covered Bengaluru and Hubballi.

Nishank Varshney from Rajasthan said: “I took part in 2012 to have a closer look at entrepreneurs and know how government policies work. After the journey, I felt the need to do something and set up the IIM Ahmedabad Right to Education (RTE) and Resource Centre along with alumni from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).”
The registrations for the 2015 edition of the Yatra have already begun and details can be accessed at www.jagritiyatra.com/register.
