Aditi Ashok dished out her worst card so far in the Usha-IGU All-India Ladies and Junior Girls Championship but still had enough in her arsenal to regain the stroke play title here on Thursday.
Despite shooting an error-strewn 74 in the third round, the 16-year-old Bengalurean managed to lay her hands on the Billo Sethi trophy for the third time after totalling 214 at the Eagleton Golf Resort.
Pace-setter Nishtha Madan of Gurgaon produced a level-par 72 to end second two shots behind Aditi while Seher Atwal (74) and Ridhima Dilawari (75) ended tied third at 218.
Arshia Mahant picked up the Category B title with a total of 231 while Anika Varma triumphed in Category C with a cumulative score of 226.
Aditi began with a bogey on the second hole but negated that with a birdie on the fourth hole. What followed soon was a fluctuating ride but with all of her rivals also strugglig to cope with the conditions, the teenager was able to wrap up a good win.
