Tremors accompanied by a loud sound continued to jolt Hubanur and the surrounding villages on Friday. It has already been 20 days since this region had been experiencing tremors.
According to local residents, the earth shook twice on Friday noon. Gram Panchayat member Prakash Mali told Deccan Herald that the earth quaked with a huge sound for fives times on Sunday.
“The taluk administration had promised to instal a seismograph to measure the intensity of the tremors. However, the instrument had not been installed even after five days,” he alleged.
