JOIN US Ankisha Rastogi is given clean chit in her husband Saurabh Rastogi’s murder case. Saurabh Rastogi, a senior general manager at Genpact, was found murdered at his flat in HSR Layout on June 14, 2014.
The HSR layout police, who filed the change sheet before VIth ACMM court on Friday gave Ankisha a clean chit. The charge sheet runs into 429 pages and statements of 80 witnesses have been recorded.
“We took Ankisha to Gujarat for a narco analysis test. We could not conduct the test due to her certain medical conditions. The probe carried so far did not establish anything against her. There were no evidences. Hence, she was given a clean chit,” said a police officer.
There was delay in concluding about Ankisha’s role in the murder as Reshvin Chengappa, who murdered Saurabh, mislead the police by claiming that Ankisha was a part of the conspiracy.
Reshvin, who was in love with Ankisha, allegedly murdered her husband to marry her.
