JOIN USPrem Shankar Meena has been appointed as the new Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of the Lokayukta. The previous ADGP Lokayukta H N Sathyanarayana Rao has been posted as the ADGP (Communication, Logistics and Modernisation), Bangalore.
The ADGP (Crime and Technical Services) N S Megharikh has been given the additional charge of ADGP (Recruitment and Training). IPS officer Pronab Mohanty has been posted as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for CID, Bangalore.
IGP Seemant Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Executive Director for the Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation, Bangalore. He has also been given the additional charge of the Managing Director for the Corporation.
IPS officer P Harishekaran has been posted as the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Bangalore and the Deputy Inspector General of Police for Karnataka State Industrial Security Force, Internal Security Division, S Murugan has been placed with the additional charge of Inspector General of Police and Commander, Anti-Naxal Force, Bangalore.
B R Ravikante Gowda has been posted as the Superintendent of Police (SP), Belgaum and Dr Chandra Gupta has been posted as the SP for Ramanagara district. Anupam Agarwal has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Belgaum and C Vamsi Krishna has been transferred as the SP for Dharwad district.
