Amogh sparkles in Kumaran victory

An all-round performance from Amogh S steered Sri Kumaran Public School to a comfortable nine-wicket win over Air Force School, Yelahanka in the inter-school under-16 Division (II) tournament for the KSCA Cup. 

Batting first, Air Force were packed for a lowly 100 in 22.2 overs with Amogh (5/2) wrecking havoc with ball. In response, Sri Kumarans chased down the target in 10.1 overs, losing just one wicket. 

Amogh shone with bat too for the winners, top scoring with an unbeaten 48. Brief scores: Air Force, Yelahanka: 100 all out in 22.2 overs (Amogh S 5-2) lt to Sri Kumaran Public School (ICSE): 105/1 in 10.1 overs (Amogh S 48 n.o.). 

Ryan International School, Yelahanka: 116 all out in 39.5 overs (Shekar 26; Ram 3-20, Vikram 3-17) bt Mallya Aditi International School: 91 all out in 32.3 overs (Steve John 4-19).

The Oxford Senior Secondary School: 84 all out in 33 overs (Akhil 3-8, Pradhyumna 3-5) lt to Carmel School, Padmanabhanagar: 85/7 in 25 overs (Gagan 2-16, Rishikesh 2-18).

Cambridge High School, HSR Layout: 66 all out in 18 overs (Suhas 2-13, Aditya 2-9, Karthik Babu 3-17, Nirmal G Bhat 2-15) lt to New Cambridge High School: 67/3 in 16.2 overs.

Army Public School: 119 all out in 31.5 overs (Saravanan 46; Kaushik 6-33, Tharun 2-10) lt to Kensri School: 123/3 in 24.4 overs (Skanda 40 n.o., Kaushik 30 n.o.; Ragul 2-44).

MS Ramaiah Vidyaniketan: 287/6 in 50 overs (Karthik Simha 138, Jaffer Sharief 53) bt Vijaya High School: 122 all out in 40.4 overs (Sharath 50; Samrath 2-30, Seshan AR 3-11). 

St Paul’s English School: 172 all out in 39.3 overs (Abhimanyu 40, Guruprasad 27 n.o.; Amey 2-41, Shreyas BM 3-27, Anirudh 3-42) lt to VVS Sardar Patel School: 173/7 in 31.4 overs (Anirudh 58 n.o., Ankush 28; Yeshwanth 3-53, Abhimanyu 2-29).

Sri Kumaran Children Home (CBSE): 209 all out in 41.4 overs (Pranav 75, Narendran 90; Gaurav 3-22, Abhiram Desai 2-28) lt to Venkat International Public School: 213/4 In 35.1 overs (Rithik 45, Abhiram Desai 56, Vignesh 54 n.o.; Nikhil 2-22).
