JOIN USArchana Kamat demolished Spoorthy MV 14-12, 11-6, 11-6, 11-8 to enter the women’s singles final of the 3rd CS Suresh memorial State-ranking table tennis tournament on Saturday.
In the title clash, Archana will take on Shwetha K who scored a hard-fought 11-5, 11-4, 4-11, 7-11, 11-3, 12-10 win over Khushi V in the other semifinal.
In the Youth girls’ category, Spoorthy MV defeated Samyuktha 11-7, 11-3, 11-6, 11-6 to reach the last four stage. Joining her in the semifinals was Archana who rallied to beat Sejal Kaushik 6-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-7, 11-3.
Kushi V, who bested Sushmitha Bidri, and Aishwarya Bidri, who got the better off Raksha R, complete the semifinal line-up.
