Two-day event on UAV from February 1

The Rotary Club of Bangalore will organise a two-day national seminar, exhibition, air show and modelling competition featuring Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) on February 1 and 2, on Jain Global Campus, Jakkasandra, Kanakapura taluk.

Aero modelling workshops and flying competitions are part of the event that will be held from 12 pm to 3 pm on February 1 and from 11 am to 2 pm on the second day.
The exhibition will have varied models and experts explaining the same, and various concepts of unmanned combat.

Event coordinator R Raghunathan, a member of the Rotary Club, said the UAV air show aims to provide exposure to children and aviation fans.

Nearly 300 engineering students are expected to take part in the event and the DRDO and NAL will display aero models and showcase research undertaken so far. In the seminar, aerospace experts will discuss the pros and cons of UAV efficiency.
