Superstars Salman Khan and Prabhas have lately been in the news for delivering huge hit films respectively. Prabhas starrer Baahubali which released on July 10 took box office by storm with the humongous business on the very day of its release.
A week later, Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan also managed to set benchmarks in its own stride. Both the films witnessed power packed performances delivered by their lead actors Prabhas and Salman Khan. In addition to both the films performing par excellence at the box office, they have managed to sustain their position on celluloid by crossing the 50 day mark.
Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan are the only two recent films that have played on the big screen for over 50 days. In today’s time, when films have a short shelf-life, as audiences constantly demand change, both these blockbusters have stayed glued to the theatres.
