Mohanlal's good luck message to Ajay Devgn and team 'Drishyam'

Mumbai: Ever since the launch of its trailer, Drishyam has been creating ripples in the industry with the return of Ajay Devgn to a strong and intense role. Known to excel as an action maestro, this thriller will witness Ajay in a new avatar where he will fight back with brains and not brawn. Playing the character of common man Vijay Salgaonkar, he will be seen taking on the men and women in khaki, outwitting them at every step. With Tabu playing IG Meera Deshmukh, Drishyam promises nail biting suspense enclosed in an entertaining plot.

Apparently, this was one such script that Tabu had liked very much when she saw the original film and little did she know that she would get to play the role of the tough cop which had impressed her the most. Basking in the power of the script and its engaging storyline, this film was successful in its South renditions as well. In fact, veteran actor Mohanlal from its Malayalam remake wished the team success saying, “Drishyam is a beautiful script that is close to my heart. Wishing Ajay and the team the very best. Am sure it will be a great success.”

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Panorama Studios, Drishyam is directed by Nishikant Kamat and releases this Friday.
