Madhavi Latha in a new avatar

Hyderabad: Madhavi Latha of Nachavule fame has landed another performance-oriented role. “This is a period film set in the 1950s. A novel of Chalam, a popular writer of that time, has been taken as the subject of this film,” Madhavi says, adding, “Every woman will love this traditional character and it’s a challenging role for me.” Shooting for the film is complete and the actress is confident that the film will give her a break in Tollywood. Ghazal Srinivas plays the lead.

Madhavi has, meanwhile, signed two more Telugu films, the shooting for which is going on. The actress recently played a glamourous role in the Tamil film Ambala. She says that wanted to prove that she was capable of doing any character, modern or traditional.
