Sanjay Leela Bhansali may have still not forgotten the dejection he faced when he released his film Saawariya on the day Om Shanti Om released. Saawariya was a wash out and Om Shanti Om went on the become a blockbuster. Looks like history is going to repeat itself and Bhansali is taking the war to the next level. He has decided to release his film Bajirao Mastani on December 18 this year, the same day Rohit Shetty is releasing Dilwale.
A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Bhansali’s schedule did go haywire when Ranveer injured his hand. He has still not resumed the shoot, whereas Priyanka and Deepika have commenced the shoot of that film. However, looks like the film will be wrapped on time and will make it for the Christmas release. As far as Rohit’s shoot is concerned, he is known to finish his movies on time.”
Rohit has committed that he will release his film on Christmas this year. Bajirao stars Ranveer, Priyanka and Deepika while Dilwale has Shah Rukh and Kajol pairing up again alongside Varun Dhawan and Kirti Sanon. Who will win this battle this Christmas? Time will tell...
