Pragati Chourasiya, who is popularly known for starring in the serial Shastri Sisters is all set to make her Telugu debut. She is playing the female lead opposite Shreayan Kapoor, younger son of popular actress Jayasudha, in an untitled film.
Interestingly, he is also making his debut with this film. “The shooting of the film is going on without much media hype. The makers wanted to announce it after the completion of the film,” says the source.
Pragati is just 17 years old; she started acting at the age of four. She has acted in a few serials like Bade Ache Lagte Hein and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. After looking at many new faces, finally the makers selected Pragati as they have seen her performance in her serials, says the source.
Pragati also worked in Jodha Akbar, produced by Shreayan’s cousin Ekta Kapoor. Shreayan has also participated in the National Shooting Championship. Vasu Manthena who is directing and producing this film, is also making his debut with this movie.
