Not just yet! Fawad and Siddharth not in 'Ram Lakhan' clarifies Karan Johar

Mumbai: For weeks there has been lot of speculation about the casting of Rohit Shetty’s next Ram Lakhan. Produced by Karan Johar, earlier there were rumours that Arjun and Ranveer will most likely make it to the final casting. And now there are reports about Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan being cast as Ram-Lakhan.

The film is a remake of the iconic film directed by Subhash Ghai in 1989. All the songs of the film were a chartbuster composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

According to reports, Alia Bhat will reprise the role of Madhuri Dixit. However Karan Johar has put an end to all the rumours.

On his social networking site he wrote, “While Rohit and I are extremely excited with the excitement RAM LAKHAN has generated....we would like to say...IT HAS NOT BEEN CAST!!!

Rohit Shetty is currently busy with his mega-project ‘Dilwale’ that is slated to release on Christmas this year. Looks like it will take some time before the cast to be finalized, as the captain of the ship is busy with a film which is already on floors.
