Director A S Ravikumar targets Ravi Teja?

Director clarifies that his account was hacked
Hyderabad: Director of Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, A.S. Ravikumar Chowdhary, was quick to clarify on Wednesday after commenting on Facebook (on Tuesday) that he did not want to direct Ravi Teja.
He had also highlighted some community-based comments and had indicated that he had felt proud about the slogans raised in favour of Balakrishna recently at Vijayawada.
However, when we quizzed him about the same, the director said that he didn’t know how it happened. “My Facebook account was hacked and somebody else posted those comments. When people told me about it, I immediately deactivated my account,” he says.
When pointed out that this was the usual excuse given by everyone when things go wrong on social media, he said, “Please leave this controversy as I don’t want to talk about it.”
He added that Ravi Teja was a good friend and he had worked as a co-director for one of his films in the past. “In the near future, too, I would like to work with Ravi Teja and if I get the chance I will do a film with him,” he clarified.
Actor Srihari had passed away halfway through shooting of Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Chowdhary said that it was a big setback. “It was a big shock for me. I was very upset and was unable to step out for nearly 10 days. At that time the producers gave me full support,” he says.
Jagapathi Babu was roped in and the dialogues were changed. “We reshot the scenes with Jagapathi Babu and his body language is completely different from Srihari. So I changed the dialogues to Jagapathi Babu’s modulation and also changed a few scenes,” adds Chowdhary.
