Salim has Vijay Anthony and Aksha in the lead

Actor Venkatesh is known as a “remake hero” in Tollywood, as most of his Telugu films are remakes from either other south film industries or from Bollywood.
Interestingly, the actor’s last two films Masala and Drushyam are remakes and his upcoming film Gopala Gopala is also a remake of Oh My God, a Hindi film.
Now, according to a source, the actor will act in another remake and this time he has chosen a Tamil film Salim.
This Tamil film was released this year in August and was a hit. Salim has Vijay Anthony and Aksha in the lead.
The source added that Venkatesh is interested in doing this film in Telugu and has asked a couple of writers to make the story suitable for the Telugu audience.
