Karan is expected to come back to India as soon as his mum is on the road to recovery

Mumbai: We know just how devoted Karan Johar is to his mum Hiroo. Recent reports have highlighted how the filmmaker had jetted off to the US as Hiroo Johar is seeking treatment there for chronic back pain. KJo’s aides now tell us that he has put all of his other work on hold as he wants to be with his mother while she recuperates in New York. He will wrap up his pending projects once she is well and back home.
“It was the need of the hour and Karan had decided to take his mom to NY to make sure she gets the best treatment,” our source added. Karan is expected to come back to India as soon as his mum is on the road to recovery. In his absence, his friend and Dharma Productions’ CEO Aporva Mehta has taken over the reins.
