A number of Bollywood actors have been approached to be the face of the soon-to-be launched channel Sony Pal, but we hear Raveena Tandon has been finalised for the role. A source from the channel tells us that they were looking for a popular face that could connect with the audience and thought that Raveena would be the best fit.
The channel is poised to be a woman-centric and progressive one, airing shows that revolve around positive stories of the victory of women. Most of the shows will feature a strong female centric character.
Hence, the brand ambassador of Sony Pal needs to be a strong woman who endorses the philosophy of the channel. Who will finally be announced as the ambassador is something only time will tell.
