Mumbai: The late legendary singer Manna Dey left behind many admirers who were stunned by the news of his demise. One such die-hard fan is superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who loves listening to Manna Dey. Mr Bachchan was deeply saddened by his favourite singer’s death, and was shooting for his upcoming series Yudh on that day.
A source from the sets said, “Mr Bachchan looked visibly low, he requested the entire crew to observe a 2-minute silence in remembrance of Manna Dey. He also spoke to his co-actors of the memories he had of the great singer.”
Just three weeks into Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and the youngest contestant on the show Akshat, and partner Vaishnavi, became the first pair to bag a shining pair of dancing shoes for giving a perfect-10 performance.
Akshat did a Michael Jackson style dance to the Salman Khan song Pandeji Seeti. The duo got a standing ovation from the judges and contestants. Akshat was presented the dancing shoes by Madhuri Dixit, Remo and Karan Johar.
