Chennai: The grandson of renowned Tamil poet Pulavar Pulamaipithan is foraying into tinsel town with Yevan, a commercial potboiler being helmed by Duraimurugan.
Tipped as a family drama which dwells on the relationship between mother-son duo, the movie has Dhileepan, essaying several fight sequences sans a dupe.
Interestingly, the director chose him from Koothu-P-Pattarai, the prominent city-based theatre group which has produced many actors, without knowing that Dhileepan is the grandson of Pulamaipithan.
Duraimurugan says, “The climax sequences of the movie has Dhileepan performing some edge of the thriller stunt sequences shot at Mysore. Despite succumbed to heavy injuries, Dhileepan agreed to go for the shoot and cooperated well. It will be the highlight of the film.”
