Esha Deol starts shooting for 'Footpath 2'

After dating for more than 2 years, Esha Deol married Bharat Takhtani in a south Indian wedding at the Iskon Temple. The wedding was a private affair. She is back post marriage and is making her Kannada debut with the Kishan Srikanth directorial, 'Footpath 2'. She was last seen in the movie 'Tell me O Khuda' directed by Mayur Puri and Hema Malini

The bilingual flick, 'Footpath 2', being made in Kannada and Hindi, also stars Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu fame, Jackie Shroff and the director himself in prominent roles.

Initially it was Hema Malini who was signed for the film, but due to the by-elections, she could not make it. Hence, her daughter Esha has given her nod to be a part of the film. Esha will essay the role of a lawyer in this film.
