Dubai, Feb 22: Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd (KEL) will host their next session - 'Analysis of Indian Budget 2018 - impact on NRIs and issues on NRI Taxation', on Sunday February 25. The session is open to all those interested in understanding the changes in tax laws affecting NRIs and how to comply the statutory requirements applicable from next financial year.

The government of India presented its Budget for the year 2018 on February 1 and there were mixed reactions from the cross section of the stake holders. India is now one of the fastest growing economies in the world – 2.5 trillion dollars economy and the 7th largest economy in the world and it is poised to be the 5th largest economy soon. Structural reforms like demonetization and GST has put the economy on a new track of development.

Speaker’s Profile:

Mark D'Souza is a successful Professional, Speaker and a Teacher who relates his professional experience coupled with practical case studies that empowers the leaders and equips them to face the challenges of managing their organizations.

Born in Neerude, Mangaluru, Mark is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India with over 30 years’ experience in audit and assurance services, taxation, corporate law, foreign exchange and business consulting.

A graduate of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, Mark has over 28 years of teaching experience in accounting, financial management, taxation and banking. He is a member of the taxation committee of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) and is on the advisory board several leading educational and non-profit organizations in Bangalore.

Mark is one of the founding lead member of Kanara Entrepreneurs in Bengaluru and served as the director Chapter Development of KE Global, Dubai and the immediate past President of Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) Bengaluru. His companies include Mark D’Souza & Co Chartered accountants, MAXMA Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, and Penmywill.
