Mangaluru: Andrea D’Souza bags gold, bronze at SKAI Int’l Karate championship

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Andrea Rohan D’Souza, VIII standard student of St Joseph English Medium High School Adyar Padav, Neermarga, Mangaluru won a gold medal in KUMITE event and bronze Medal in KATA event in the second SKAI International Karate Championship 2018.

The event was organized by Shotokan Karate, DO Association of India at Badminton Indoor Hall, Peddem Sports complex, Mapusa, Goa on February 3 and 4.

Andrea Rohan is the son of Ronnie and Apoline (Mable) D’Souza of Adyar Padav, Neermarga, Mangaluru. 

He has been trained by Ishwar Kateel and Morgan Williams (Moodbidri).

Headmistress Sr Neeta Alva and physical instructor Prakash of St Joseph English Medium High School Adyar Padav congratulated him on the occasion.
