Bagalkot, Jan 27: Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) founder Padmanabha Prasanna Kumar, who claims to have the video of the ‘secret marriage’ between BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje and BJP Karnataka president B S Yeddyurappa, says he is facing threat to life from Shobha Karandlaje.

Addressing media persons in Bagalkot on Saturday, Padmanabha Prasanna Kumar said that Shobha Karandlaje and Yeddyurappa got married at Bhagavati Temple in Kerala. “If chief minister Siddaramaiah provides me the security, I will release the CD,” he said and added that he has been warned dire consequences by Karandlaje.

“In spite of submitting written requests to Siddaramaiah and the then home minister G Parameshwara for police protection, I have not received any security. I have lodged a complaint against Shobha Karandlaje at Vidhana Soudha police station alleging threat to my life from her, “said Padmanabha.

He further went on to accuse Shobha for misleading Yeddyurappa and said she made him leave KJP and will destroy his political career.

If Yeddyurappa had stayed with KJP, the party would have come to power, he claimed.

With regard to the upcoming assembly polls, KJP will field candidates in all 224 constituencies. “I will contest from Shikaripur and Teradal constituencies,” revealed Padmanabha.

I have been an ardent critic of Yeddyurappa in these columns but that is because of the corrupt ways he practiced while he was the CM of the state. I will continue to condemn his corrupt practices because I don't want a corrupt person like Yeddyurappa to be the CM once again. That said, I am of the opinion that his marrying anybody of his liking is his personal choice. That is his personal life and he is free to do whatever he does in his personal life. If at this age he is able to attract someone much younger than him, that speaks volumes for his handsome appearance. Good luck to this young man and if indeed he has married someone I wish him a happy married life. And the lady, whoever she is, must have seen something in this dashing young man to opt him as his life partner. No prizes for guessing what that is.

Social media theater is biggest platform to release this movie which can flutter in the BJP. If he is genuinely has the marriage CD which may happen in Kerala then it won't be difficult to confirm.

Before releasing this CD call the press conference and give it in writing that your have death threat and show the copy of journalist.

You may have offer truck load of money in one of the safe heavens on earth from BJP. Second probability will be your house will be raided by CBI, IT or Enforcement Directorate to extract CD in hiding. Third scenario will be just like Amma or Judge Loya.
