Bengaluru: Congress MLA Ambareesh skips Assembly session, later filmed dancing at music launch

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Nov 15: In an embarassment to the ruling Congress, MLA M H Ambareesh on Tuesday November 14 was allegedly seen dancing at a music launch in Bengaluru, after having skipped the ongoing Assembly session in Belagavi.

A video that has gone viral purportedly shows Ambareesh dancing with a woman in a music launch programme.

Ambareesh allegedly stayed away from the winter session of the legislature that began on Monday November 13.

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Dinesh Gundu Rao however came in support of his colleague, saying that Ambareesh was a professional actor and not just a politician.

"I think TV channels should concentrate more on important issues," Dinesh Rao said, adding that to attend or to not attend a meeting was one's own decision, according to a report by news agency ANI.

Chief minister Siddarmaiah however refused to comment when questioned.

There is no rule that Ambareesh should be present in the Assembly during a session. An elected representative needs to attend if there are issues that require their presence. How many times has Modi been out during Parliament sessions — hasn't he been seen beating drums in China and Mongolia when Parliament was in Parliament.

And what is wrong with him dancing at Music launch if he has been invited.

Please do not publish such useless news, I mean gossip!
