Amit Shah attacks Kerala CM, asks if he takes blame for RSS workers' killing

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 17 (PTI): BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday hit out at Kerala's CPI(M)-led LDF over the political violence in the state, asking Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan if he was prepared to take moral responsibility for the "killing of 13 innocent BJP/RSS workers."

Addressing party workers at the Puthrikandam maidan in Thiruvananthapuram on the conclusion of the party's 15-day 'Jan Raksha' Yatra in the state, Shah alleged that the 13 workers were killed after the present government came to power in May, 2016.

"I am asking the Kerala chief minister, whether he is prepared to take moral responsibility for the killing of 13 BJP/RSS workers in the state after the LDF government came to power."

"CM saheb, if you want to fight us, let us fight in terms of development and ideology," he said.

Shah said if the Marxist party feels that BJP/RSS workers can be eliminated through violence even after 70 years of independence, "they are mistaken."
"I will like to tell CPI(M) that it is not possible," the BJP chief said.

He also asked Vijayan whether people had given him the mandate for elimination of BJP/RSS workers in the state.

Earlier, Shah walked with party workers for about 2 km from the Martyr's column at Palayam to Putharikandam maidan, near the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple.

The BJP chief waved and acknowledged greetings from thousands of BJP workers as he joined the yatra led by state party president, Kummanam Rajasekharan.

He also paid tributes to party workers who had lost their lives in political violence in the state before addressing the public meeting.

Shah had flagged-off the yatra at Payyannur in Kannur, the northern district of the state with a history of clashes between CPI(M) and BJP-RSS workers, on October 3.

The padayatra was to highlight the 'Left's atrocities' in Kerala under the LDF government.

Earlier, Rajesekharan denied allegations by the ruling CPI(M) and opposition congress that the march was to create communal divisions in the society.

He also said the yatra had received 'tremendous' support from all sections of the people.

Union minister Pon Radhakrishnan said the yatra was to save' the people of the state.

The padayatra had criss-crossed 11 districts in the state with four chief ministers, including Yogi Aditiyanath of Uttar Pradesh, senior party leaders and Union ministers taking part in the high-pitched campaign against the ruling LDF.

Remarks by BJP leaders also kicked up controversies as the march progressed.

Adityanath wanted Kerala to learn from UP's record in health care and Goa chief minister Manohar Parikkar alleged that Kerala was being ruled by 'rogues', triggering counter remarks from the CPI-M.

Shah had skipped the march through Pinarayi, the chief minister's home town, in Kannur district, as he had to rush to Delhi for an important meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Shah had walked about seven km from Payyannur to Pilathara in the district during the rally.

Representatives of the NDA partners in the state - Tushar Vellapally of BDJS (Bharat Dharma Jana Sena), Tribal leader C K Janu of Janadhipathya Rashtriya Sabha, P C Thomas of Kerala Congress (Thomas) were among those who attended the public meeting.

Killing anybody is 100% condemnable, whether it's RSS, CPM workers or anybody for that matter.
However in his own logic, is Amit Shah taking blame for killing so many Muslims and Dalits by Cow Vigilantes ?
What about so many are killed in Riots across India? So many reformers and Journalists, RTI Activists and people exposed scams? Railway Accidents, Hospital negligence etc. Whoever it is! Who should take the blame?

Kerala people are very staunch supporters of Communism And they are kattar panti followers.Communist ideology has killing people.Communist people follow the bloodshed. Amit Shah asks the Kerala CM and asked whether the people have given the mandate for killing.....he should know when the Communist party's Flag itself is red color.....killing is in built in communist party. Most of the party leaders are rich and some are stinking rich but the party cadres are poor people and the policy of the communist party is they pay the salaries to the party cadres thats why it survived in two places. Now the same paying salary to the cadre is followed by the TMC of Mamatha Banergee and she won because many communist party workers and some leaders moved into her party.Without paying salry communist party will vanish forever.

Keralites used to be a icon of Indian unity overseas. Nobody knew religion of a keralite, except for knowing them as Malabari. They are now not only angry with BJP but feel absolutely devastated with the kind of politics BJP playing.

BJP won 1 MLA seat from Kerala for the first time in last election. Maybe he can pride himself to be lone BJP MLA for another 100 years, who won a seat for BJP in Kerala. Because there won't be another one from BJP winning again. There could be defectors, but not one winning with BJP flag in hand.
