Chikkaballapur: MLA K Sudhakar's resignation drama - stones pelted at Moily's residence

Chikkaballapur, Jul 8: It is gathered immediately after local MLA, K Sudhakar, offered to resign from his post, some Congress activists pelted stones at the local residence of MP, Veerappa Moily.

MLA, Sudhakar had informed his decision to quit through Twitter. Sudhakar's supporters, who held Moily responsible for this decision, gave vent to their anger by throwing stones at the house of Moily at Shankar Math in the town.

Chief minister, Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, Dr G Parameshwara had asked Sudhakar's father, Keshav Reddy, who is the president of the zilla panchayat here to step down. Aggrieved at this development, Sudhakar had taken a decision to resign.
