Mumbai: Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha sets up Yakshagana training association for members

Mumbai, Jul 6: Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha formed 'Veera Yaksha Kala Balaga' to provide training in Yakshagana for its members. B Muniraja Ajila, president of the Sangha set in motion the Balaga at Veekays English High School auditorium on Sunday July 2.

Joint secretary of the Sangha, Raghuveer Hegde, Manish Hegde, joint treasurer Sampath Jain were present on the dais. The president honored Raghuveer Hegde and family which had borne the entire cost of the programme. N Rajavarma Jain, Shishupal Jain, women's wing's Jyothi J Jain, youth wing's Vikas Jain, Vikranth Athikari, Abhinandan Jain and Sampath Kumar helped in the programme.

The programme began with prayers Sujaya L Jain, Supriya R Hegde and Padmapriya P Ballal of women's wing. Honortary secretary Pavananjay Balal welcomed the gathering.

Youth wing president Bharath Raj Jain gave the keynote address. Avakash Jain compered the programme and retired teacher Lokanath Jain proposed the vote of thanks.
