Bengaluru: Ramya keeps away from active politics, questions remain unanswered

Bengaluru, Mar 13: Charismatic Congress youth leader Ramya has kept a low profile in the recent past. She has kept herself away from active politics. This had raised many questions in political circles and all the questions remain unanswered.

Ramya was elected as Member of Parliament in the by-election held in August 2013. Later in 2014 she lost in the Lok Sabha elections. But she did not lose hope in politics and always remained active especially by being close to party high command. She kept in touch with her political mentor S M Krishna all the time. She also attracted attention by being a political enemy of Ambareesh. On top of that, Twitter postings were her favourites which kept her in news.

But since last November she has not been seen or heard much in either political circles or in films. Her mentor S M Krishna has already left Congress and is about to join BJP. Ramya has been always associated with Krishna. Does Krishna’s exit have anything to do with Ramya’s silence? Is she also going to join BJP?

It is said that Ramya has not been in contact with Congress high command like before. What are her plans for the future? Many questions still remain unanswered.
