Bengaluru: Tamil singer Suchitra tweets private videos of actress Sanchita Shetty

Bengaluru, Mar 5: Noted Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu playback singer and radio jockey, Suchitra Karthik, has courted controversy by tweeting private photos and video tapes of leading male and female actors of Tamil filmdom including Kannada actress Sanchita Shetty who hails from Mangaluru.

Sanchita, who carved out a niche for herself by portraying the role of heroine in 'Mungaru Male - 2', reacted by saying that she has been closely watching the developments related to this issue in the media. She clarified that she has nothing to do with the said video and that the person shown in the video is someone else, not her. She added that she does know anything about Suchitra Karthik like who she is, what she does, etc.

Suchitra has tweeted photos of well-known Tamil leading actor Dhanush and Trisha, and personal photos of singer close to Dhanush, Anirudh, actress, Hansika Motwani, and TV host, Divyadarshini, in her twitter wall. These photos have been lapped up by followers of Twitter on a large scale.

Karthik, who hastily come forward in defence of his wife, clarified that the Twitter account of his wife has been hacked by someone. The above tweets have since been removed from her wall. However, there are many who are reluctant to buy this story. They insist that it is impossible for anyone else to post tweets and photos. Some have floated the theory that the photos were posted by Suchitra under the influence of liquor.
