BHIM App: Here's how you can get a cashback of Rs 750 on the money transferring app

In order to promote the government funded BHIM app against the various private funded payment apps. The government has announced a scheme of cashback for customers as well as merchants. Ministry of Electronics and IT is offering a cashback of Rs 51 for the new customers and the merchants who will opt for the BHIM app for daily payments will get cashback of Rs 1000.

New customers, who will make their first payment by using the BHIM app will get cashback of Rs 51. Users can make the make payment of as small as Re 1 to get the cashback. Apart from it, customers doing any transaction of minimum Rs 100 to the bank account, VPA (Virtual payment address) or mobile number will get cashback of Rs 25, the minimum limit of the cashback is Rs 500 in a month.


Cashback of Rs 100 will be given by the app to the customers making transactions between the 25 to 50 numbers and users who will do more than 50 transactions but less than 100 transactions will get cashback of Rs 200. And, the customers who will do more than 100 transactions will get the cashback of Rs 250. The BHIM app is going to offer 10% of cashback to the merchants on the minimum transaction of Rs 50.

BHIM was developed by the National payments corporation of India, it was released on 30 December 2016 and can be downloaded from Google play star and it is available in more than English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi etc.
