Asus unveils notebook with i7 and i5 models in India; read price and specifications here

Both i7 and i5 models showcase the next gen USB type C connectivity and advanced graphics NVIDIA GeForce 940MX (N16S-GTR) with a performance, almost two times if compared with its competitors.

Available in glossy dark brown IMR, i7 comes with SATA 1TB 5400RPM 2.5' HDD storage, VGA web camera (Fixed type), a chiclet keyboard coupled with ASUS Smart Gesture and ASUS Splendid software.

Also, the i5 model, which is available in matt golden, glossy dark brown, red and dark blue hues, boasts of a full HD display with resolution 1920x1080, anti-glare, higher pixel density and a memory of DDR4 8GB.

The new range of notebooks start at Rs 48,990.

"The demand for the mainstream notebooks has been steadily increasing over the years and hence this segment will be one of our key focus areas this year," said Regional Head South Asia and Country Manager ASUS India, Peter Chang.
