UP: BJP MLA Lokendra Singh dies in road accident in Sitapur; Party morns his death

Bhartiya Janta Party MLA, Lokendra Singh breathe his last in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district on Wednesday. This horrifying incident took place when his car rammed into a truck on Sitapur highway.

Singh was an MLA from Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor's Noorpur constituency. Singh was on his way in his personal vehicle, Toyota Fortuner, when he met an accident. When his car rammed into the truck it also took his two gunners life.

In this horrifying accident, the truck driver also got killed. Lokendra Singh was 41 years-old BJP party leader, survived by his wife and two sons. Last year, in March Singh, won Uttar Pradesh Assembly by a handsome margin.

Singh is Bijnor district born and assumed his office in March 2012 and preceded Sheo Nath Singh. Earlier he used to work as agriculturist before elected as MLA.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed his condolences on Singh's death. "Anguished by the demise of BJP MLA from Noorpur, Shri Lokendra Singh Ji due to an accident. His service towards society and role in building the BJP in UP will always be remembered. My thoughts are with his family and supporters in this hour of grief," Modi tweeted.

Other Political leaders also expressed their condolence on Singh's Death and took Twitter to share their feelings
