J&K: Policeman injured in Pulwama attack

A policeman has been reported to be injured in an attack on a police party at Muran Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on 3 April.

According to reports, the policeman was inspecting a crime scene at Muran chowk when unidentified gunmen started firing.

Greater Kashmir reported that the injured policeman is Head Constable Muhammad Shafi, who was inspecting the site of an ATM robbery at Murran chowk when he was shot.

On 30 March, Hameeda Begum - the wife of police officer Gulam Hassan - died in Pulwama after being reportedly shot at by separatist guerrillas.
