Sonakshi Sinha's Akira trailer out on 4 July. Here's what you can expect from the AR Murugadoss film

After Ghajini and Holiday, AR Murugadoss's third Bollywood film is action thriller -- Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha in lead. The makers are now ready to unveil the theatrical trailer of the film on 4 July 2016.

The film's trailer will be launched at an event in Mumbai in presence of entire star cast. The trailer will present Sonakshi Sinha in an action avatar for the first time in her career and the actress reportedly underwent intense training in various forms of martial arts.

Akira is the official remake of 2011 Tamil super-hit film, Mouna Guru. However, while the original version revolved around a male protagonist, the Bollywood version will have a female protagonist. Doesn't it sound interesting?

Akira marks the acting debut of director Anurag Kashyap who plays the negative lead in the film. The music of the action thriller has ben composed by Vishal Shekhar.

The movie will release on 2 September 2016.
