Heyy Babyy 2 in the offing with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh? Ask Sajid Khan...

It has been nine years since the release of Heyy Babyy, starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan. Fans celebrated the anniversary of the comic caper on twitter by trending #9YearsOfHeyyBabyy.

Director Sajid Khan got on the social networking website as well, and hinted at the possibility of a sequel to the film. He tweeted,

"Thank you friends for all the luv n good wishes #9YearsOfHeyyBabyy looks like i'll have to start writing the sequel."

Despite not directing Housefull 3, Sajid Khan is responsible for the Housefull franchise and there are talks of him returning as a director for Housefull 4. The director is currently busy working on a script for his next film which might star Hrithik Roshan in the lead.

Heyy Babyy released back in 2007 and went on to emerge a super-hit at the Box Office.
