Hera Pheri 3: Triple the fun as Akshay Kumar rejoins Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty in the comic franchise

This is called the circle of life. In 2015, Firoz Nadiadwala announced Hera Pheri 3and revealed that John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan have replaced Akshay Kumar in the comic caper. The film went on floors with a lot of fan-fare and shot nearly 50% of it in Dubai and Mumbai. However, according to latest reports, Akshay Kumar is now back in the film!

What happened was this: Producer Firoz Nadiadwala faced a financial crunch, which resulted in the shooting being stalled, and Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham walking out of the film. And now, the film has completed a circle as Akshay Kumar is back on board for the film which will go on floors soon with a new script! Of course, portions which have already been shot will be shelved.

Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed the development to Mumbai Mirror and promised to announce the new star-cast of the film within a month.

"We are still finalising the details. In a month's time we will know the exact cast and unit and will make an official announcement. Everyone is excited about the film," said Firoz.

The movie, directed by Neeraj Vora will go on floors by the end of 2016 and will release in the last quarter of 2017. It stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The female lead is yet to be finalised.
