Anurag Basu says no delay in Jagga Jasoos release

Anurag may not push the release date of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer 

 A lot has been written and spoken about Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos which is set to release onApril 7. The film has been delayed for a long time due to various technical and casting issues. Finally earlier this year, first trailer of the film was released and makers announced that the film will release in April. However, recently there was a buzz that it might not released on schedule date as the director is still trying to figure out where to fit in 29 songs in his film.

 Jagga Jasoos is co-produced by Ranbir Kapoor and, it is said to be a musical, so composer Pritam has revealed that he has done 29 songs for the film. Now Anurag decided to clear the air regarding release date of the film and tweeted, “#JaggaJasoos is a Family Holiday film Since exams r pushed at most of the places We r contemplating the delay Only IF v get a better Date.” (sic).

 Ranbir is currently shooting for Sanjay Dutt biopic, which is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and Katrina has been promoting the film through her social media accounts.

 The film was to have a box office clash with Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy and others. If Ranbir’s film gets a new release date then they will be able to avert the clash.
