Amitabh Bachchan pens a letter in poetic style, post his discharge from hospital

Bollywood's legendary actor, Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan, was admitted to the Mumbai's Lilavati hospital on Friday evening. Big B was admitted for a routine check-up. A day after when he was on his way back from check-up, he was annoyed by the media and spotted hiding his face with a knit hat.

Soon after the report came out of the 75-years-old actor admitted to the hospital, the social media poured "get well soon" wishes.

On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: "To all of them that express concern, I am in wellness you may learn. I wrote a blog-verse last night in the refrain, You may visit it here, from rumor abstain. It is in Hindi, a language I speak. Shall translate into English, but efforts are meek!"

 

Big B also shared a link to his blog post, which he wrote in Hindi and later translated it into English.

 

“Yes, your ‘excellencies’ I do go to hospitals, this practice have I kept alive from birth. Was not this the place where they heard my first cry at birth? This was the place where was welcomed my existence of life, Amitabh writes in the translated version.

 

On Friday evening, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he had a lower back pain. “He came to the hospital for pain in lumbar (lower back) region. He was given injections and discharged,” a hospital source told PTI.

A few hours before leaving for the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan shared the first teaser of his upcoming flick, '102 Not Out', The film also stars Rishi Kapoor, who will be seen playing the son of 102-years-old Amitabh Bachchan that is directed by Umesh Shukla. Big B is also working on Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Thugs of Hindostan' along with Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.
