Can you give Tinhead a home?

Cat rescued by Galway SPCA with head stuck in tin can looking for his forever home

A male cat found himself in a spot of bother recently when he was found by the Galway SPCA with a tin on his head.

According to Galway SPCA a concerned person reported the troubled kitty after he was spotted wandering around with a tin wedged on his head.

Lucky for the little lad, there was a dent in the tin which meant he could breathe.

Staff at the animal shelter believe that the cat was abandoned by his owner(s) and dumped on the rural laneway.

He was caught by a member of the Galway SPCA and the tin was removed from his head. The cat was also neutered by the Galway SPCA.

The cat, who is now called 'Tinhead' will be up for adoption as soon as he is recovered from his traumatic experience.

Anyone who would like to adopt Tinhead can contact the Galway SPCA on 085-8509879.
