He is a veteran filmmaker who has made some iconic films not just for India but also globally. Shekhar Kapur who is neck deep preparing for his next on Bruce Lee came across something that belonged to Karan Johar and he called out to the filmmaker on social media.

Shekhar Kapur, who is known for masterpieces like Bandit Queen and Mr. India, was going through the archive to find information about Bruce Lee when he came across a picture of Mr. Yash Johar (father of Karan Johar) along with American actor James Coburn and Bruce Lee (who looked extremely young).

He shared the black and white picture on social media saying, “Hi @karanjohar. Was going thru archives in research for my film on Bruce Lee. Look what I found! A Pic of ur Dad with James Coburn and Bruce”. This kick started a conversation between Shekhar Kapur as well as Karan Johar as the latter turned nostalgic and also in a moment of excitement, expressed his desire to show it to his mom as soon as possible.
